LIVE: Rescue Bats From Australia for National Bat Appreciation Day | The Dodo LIVE

We’re celebrating national bat day with these adorable rescued bats! Check out the story we did with Sarah’s Bats here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLNhw50lcaU

National Bat Appreciation Day occurs annually on April 17th. April is the best time of the year to observe bats, as they are now beginning to emerge from hibernation. National Bat Appreciation Day is also an excellent time to learn about the role bats play in nature.

To learn more about Sarah’s work, follow Sarah’s Bats on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sarahsbats/. Sarah is a licensed, trained and vaccinated wildlife rescuer with Sydney Wildlife (https://www.facebook.com/sydneywildli…) and provides education services for Sydney Bats (https://www.facebook.com/SydneyBats/); she recommends never handling a live bat.
